Shasta Family YMCA adds Virtual Y to Healthy Living Options

  Beyond skyrocketing unemployment rates, the COVID-19 global pandemic has created food insecurity for the low income preschoolers and their families that our YMCA serves in Greater Long Beach.

At our facility in Burbank, California, we pride ourselves everyday in our Diversity and Inclusion efforts. Our staff and team are made up of individuals from many different walks of life and backgrounds.

Despite having closed facilities, the West End YMCA focuses on working alongside other devoted agencies to improve the lives of their communities. The West End YMCA’s volunteers have maintained a strong connection with the local government and leaders. They informed the officials of the resources available and asked how they could be of help.
